“Belle”
Belle has been crafting glass since 1998, having found her passion for the medium at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her crafting continues in the form of functional artwork with a flowing natural organic feel.
Belle developed a studio, a reputation, and a business over the past 20 years as a sole proprietor. BendableGlass is now a home-based small business engaged in designing and producing functional and artistic items of soft glass, which are offered for sale by word of mouth, Belle’s personal presentations to groups, and through its main website, BendableGlass.com.
And Belle is now a published author, with the arrival of her book ABCs of Hot Glass: Glassblowing for Beginners, which is available from Amazon.
Over her years of offering her works for sale at festivals and gatherings, Belle recognized a strong interest in adult toys — initially characterized as solar powered dildos or, maybe, god statues — and listened to her customers. She established Belle’s End for discrete access to her Innurendos at BendableGlass.
Belle is developing the BendableGlass YouTube channel, featuring her working in her current single-artist Studio and selections from earlier in her career working with other artists in larger studios.
